Died on this day in 1517 aged 34 Sir Thomas Parr (my toy,wikipedia). Father of Catherine (wife of Henry VIII). Thomas was descended from Edward III, and an in-law of Thomas Moore.
Born on this day in 1050 to Henry,Holy Roman Emperor and Agnes of Poitou, Henry IV, Holy Roman Emperor (my toy,wikipedia). Father of Henry V (husband of Matilda who wanted to be Queen but wasn't). Seems to have been quite *nice* but beset by civil war.
