Is there a particular historical period or event, anywhere in the world, that fascinates you?
Early modern England, but also everywhere ever, because I like big picture history.
Would you like to visit that time, or live in it permanently, or does the whole idea make you want to run screaming?
Visit maybe. but I like modern healthcare.
What's the best piece of historical writing, nonfiction or fiction, you've ever read?
Ub, I hate 'best' questions. I really like 'Women's Work', and am currently enjoying Alison Weir's series on the wives of Henry VIII (fiction)

I try to blot bad things from my memory.
