Died on this day in 1195 aged 70 Hugh de Puiset(my toy,wikipedia). Great grand child of William the Conker, Bishop of Durham, built a bunch of stuff.
Born on this day in 1778 to Grand Duke Charles II of Mecklenburg-Strelitz and Frederica of Hesse-Darmstadt, Frederica of Mecklenburg-Strelitz(my toy,wikipedia). Wife of the son of George III (King Ernest Augustus of Hanover, who got to be King of Hanover when Victoria became Queen of England because Salic Law). Frederica's mother died when she was young, her father then remarried (to the first wife's younger sister) but this step-mother alas soon died; she and her sister were raised by their grandmother since apparently Charles didn't know what to do with girls. Frederica married three times (the second time only two months before the birth of their child).
