Died on this day in 1398 aged 65 Frederick V, Burgrave of Nuremberg (my toy,wikipedia). Father of John; husband of Margaret; sister of Anne; wife of Richard II. Apparently didn't do anything worth mentioning. I don't know what a Burgrave is.

Born on this day in 1732 Frederik II, Duke of Werttemberg (my toy,wikipedia). Father of Frederick; husband of Charlotte; daughter of George III. Got to be Duke because neither of his elder brothers had sons (they had daughters, stupid salic law). Fought in the 7 years war.

Etymology: English 'burgrave' = German 'Burggraf' = Burg + Graf = town + count. (Burg being related to borough, Edinburgh, etc).
