naathDied on this day in 1503 aged 23 John Stewart , Earl of Mar (my toy,wikipedia). Brother of James IV, great grand father of James VI & I. Not much is known of his life.
Born on this day in 1530 to John Frederick I, Elector of Saxony and Sibylle of Cleves, Johann Wilhelm, Duke of Saxe-Weimar (my toy,wikipedia). Son of Sibylle, sister of Anne, wife of Henry VIII. When Johann Wilhelm's father died Saxony was divided between his three sons, who spent pretty much their entire lives fighting over bits of it... yaaaaay.
