May. 17th, 2015 12:24 pmDied on this day in 1536 aged 32 George Boleyn (my toy,wikipedia). Sister of Anne Boleyn, wife of Henry VIII. George was executed for adultery with Anne, which is extremely unlikely to have actually occurred, although some novelists find it entertaining.
Born on this day in 1768 to Charles Brenswick-Bevern, Duke of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel and Princess Augusta of Great Britain, Caroline of Brunswick (my toy,wikipedia). Wife of George IV, her first cousin. The marriage was very unhappy, and Caroline spent most of it out of England (she had been paid to go away).
