Jun. 2nd, 2015 05:34 pmDied on this day in 1438 aged 42 Richard Dreux-Montfort , Count of Etampes (my toy,wikipedia). Son of Joan who married Henry IV (by a different father). We don't know much about him, parents, wife, children, count of Etampes... boring.
Born on this day in 1510 to Charles Brandon , 1st Duke of Suffolk and Anne Browne, Mary Brandon (my toy,wikipedia). Brandon also married Mary Tudor, the sister of Henry VII but this Mary is the daughter of Anne. She was a lady-in-waiting to Jane Seymour, married a Stanley and had 6 children (Stanleys get *everywhere* although this is a bit of a Game of Thrones prejudice because the Stanleys are the Freys; sharing the theme of "being late to important battles so as to join on the winning side", I don't expect the Stanleys really get everywhere anymore than any one else.)
