Cousin and brother-in-law of George IV. Frederick seems to have been a very
common German name.

Born on this day in 1332 to King Edward III of England and Philippa of
Hainault, Isabella de Coucy (my
toy,wikipedia).
Unusually for such a highborn woman in the 14th century she remained
unmarried until she was 33, when she married a man who had been brought to
the English court as a hostage.

Brother of Sigrid who married Sweyn Forkbeard. The first Polish ruler to be
crowned King of Poland.

Born on this day in 1239 to King Henry III of England and Eleanor of
Provence, King Edward I of England (my
toy,wikipedia).
Edward restored the power of the monarchy following a lot of unrest under
his father. On the up side he reformed a lot of English law and made
parliament a permanant fixture. On the down side he threw the Jews out
after executing many of them. That's a pretty big downside.
