Oct. 13th, 2015 04:57 pmDied on this day in 1928 aged 80 Maria of Denmark (my toy,wikipedia). Sister of Alexandra who married Edward VII. Unlike her son Tsar Nicholas Maria survived the Revolution and eventually moved to Copenhagen.
Born on this day in 1453 to King Henry VI of England and Margaret of Anjou, Edward of Westminster (my toy,wikipedia). Various factions at court contested Edward's legitimacy, but Henry never did. After the battle of Towton Margaret and Edward fled to Scotland and thence to France, after Warwick changed sides and married his daughter Anne to Edward they invaded; but lost at Tewksbury.
