Died on this day in 1448 aged 4 Anne Beauchamp , 15th Countess of Warwick (my toy,wikipedia). Great-great-grand-daughter of both Edmund of Langley and John of Gaunt (sons of Edward III). Anne inherited the Earldom of Warwick aged only 2 when her father died, but did not have it for long. She was succeeded by her father's sister Anne who married Richard Neville, the Kingmaker. In England we have Earls, not Counts, but lady-Earls and wives-of-Earls are Countesses; I wonder why Earl lacks a feminine form.

Born on this day in 1290 Constance of Portugal (my toy,wikipedia). Daughter of the King of Portugal, Constance married the King of Castile. She was the Great-grand-mother of Isabella who married Edmund of Langley (son of Edward III).
