Born on this day in 1824 to Prince Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg-Saalfeld and Maria Johary do Csabrag, Leopold of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (my toy,wikipedia). First cousin of Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. Leopold married a commoner and his children were excluded from the succession. His mother was Hungarian.
