Born on this day in 1679 to Frederick Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg I, Duke of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg and Magdalena of Saxe-Weissenfels, Elisabeth of Saxe-Gotha-Altenburg (my toy,wikipedia). Brother of Frederick, father of Augusta, mother of George III. Does not merit own wikipage.
