Born on this day in 1655 to Frederick , Elector of Brandenburg and Louise of Nassau, Charles (my toy,wikipedia).Grandson of Frederick, grandfather of William III (so, er, second cousin of William III). Charles was the heir apparent to the eloctorate of Brandenburg. Alas he died of dysentery on campaign.
