Mar. 5th, 2016 04:16 pmDied on this day in 1505 aged 38 Philip of Cleves (my toy,wikipedia). Brother of John, Grandfather of Anne, wife of Henry VIII. Philip was a bishop of Nevers, Amiens, and Autun (not all at the same time).
Born on this day in 1364 to William Julich II, Duke of Julich and Marie , William V, Duke of Julich (my toy,wikipedia). Grandson of Joanna, sister of Phillipa, wife of Edward III. William's rule was full of chivalry, and he has been cited as the "ideal knight", obviously this meant he spent much of his reign at war - going on crusades, fighting in the 100 years war, etc.
