oh look a lemming...
1. Have you ever experienced a hurricane firsthand?
There was a nasty storm in, er, 87? I remember tiles falling off the roof. But no, no real hurricanes, because yay for England.
2. Have you ever experienced outside heat over 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celcius)?
Yes, in Dendera, Egypt, it allegedly hit 50 in the sun. Hot, but dry. I was more uncomfortable in the overaircon'd hotel room. I like hot.
3. When and where was the coldest temperature you have ever experienced?
No idea. It'd be in the UK probably, I have never taken winter holidays, freezing bit not much colder.
4. Is your household prepared for a possible power outage of two to seven days?
If was Just Us we have money (and insurance) and would decamp to a hotel... if it was everyone, well, no not really. Our heating and cooking is gas, but there's probably a lot of electrcity in the system. I do have a camping stove and camping gear rated below zero, I don't think we'd die of cold, although we'd run out of food pretty quick (I am *stockpilling* lentils, yes yes, not failing at stock control)
5. Do you have a go bag?
No, the things I'd put in it I use too often. I know what I'd grab (passport, chargers, firefox, a few clothes) and where they and my bags are. If I had to evac though I have the bigger issue of 'at 10mph, onna bike' is not maybe the best plan (and flooding, the most likely risk) would likely block many routes out of the city). My phone, ebook, bank cards, and some cash are generally with me.
