If I had to evac though I have the bigger issue of 'at 10mph, onna bike' is not maybe the best plan
Although it depends on the scale of the disaster -- if the whole country is paralysed cars are useless because once one accident blocks the road no others can move, a bike might be a big advantage. Obviously I hope we avoid that!
