Ran 20k (on a treadmill)
2. New Year's Resolutions?
Don't do 'em.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No.

No.
5. What countries did you visit?
Italy, France (en-route to Italy).
6. What would you like to have had in 2011 that you didn't have in 2011?
A new bigger,nicer, partly mine house.
7. What date in 2011 will remain etched in your memory?
Dates don't etch on my memory. It's etch-resistant.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Getting up on Saturday *more than once* at 8am to *go and run* in the nasty winter weather. Summer will be so much easier. Parkrun is fantastic
9. What was your biggest failure?
Failure to get a nicer/better-paying job.
10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?
Only of the sniffly variety (only one day off work).
11. What was the best thing you bought?
A nice new steam-generator iron.
12. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Protestors bringing down nasty regimes
13. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
Our government.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Things that amuse me (including a holiday in Sicily and three OU courses). No-so-closely followed by savings and rent (which have a near-tie). Yes, I'm aware that I have rather more money than sense.
15. What songs will always remind you of 2011?
Don't do songs.

17. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Cooking. Running.
18. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Eating chocolate (I feel a bit ill from the amount I ate over Christmas).

No.

zero
22. What was your favourite TV show?
Downton Abbey with Frozen Planet a close second.
23. What was/were the best books you read?
The Way of Kings (Sanderson) really stands out in my memory. Towers of Midnight and A Song of Ice And Fire doing well too.
24. What was your greatest musical discovery?
I don't do music.
25. What did you want and get?
A holiday in Sicily.
26. What did you want and not get?
A new house and a million quid.
27. What was your favourite film this year?
I... don't recall what I've seen this year (dates, and me don't get along). Lives of Others was very good, and I enjoyed the Reader.
28. What did you do on your birthday and how old were you?
I was 28 and we had a lovely meal in the Osteria dei Vespri in Palermo. Very nice.

RJK, Running.
30. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
I mostly don't.

Oh it's all just DOOM ONNA STICK.

I'm still keeping in touch with most people as much as I want to. Mostly online.

My Mum. Because I HATE PHONES so I don't phone friends.

I don't really have any.

September is doing well.
36. Have you made any new friends?
Some new acquaintances picked up but not I think friends (yet).
37. Changed your hairstyle?
No, and it resolutely refuses to grow.
38. What are you looking forward to most in 2012?
Kentwell. Hiding from the Olympics.
