Died on this day in 1599 aged 53 Elizabeth Stafford (my toy,wikipedia). Daughter of William Stafford by his second wife, his first wife was Mary, sister of Anne Boleyn, wife of Henry VIII. During the reign of Mary the protestant Staffords lived in Geneva, they returned to London when Elizabeth became Queen and Elizabeth Stafford became a Lady of the Bedchamber.
Born on this day in 1402 Louis I, Landrgrave of Hesse (my toy,wikipedia). Great-great-grand-father of Anne of Cleves, wife of Henry VIII. Doesn't appear to have done anything of interest.
