It snew. Predictably our road has not been gritted or otherwise cleared. The larger roads seem to have been mostly cleared, although possibly just by people driving on them; the pavements are still skating rinks and the cycle paths are snow drifts and/or slush piles. Snow is pretty really nasty to cycle on.
We took advantage of the outside being cold to defrost the freezer; huge chunks and sheets of ice removed :-) Tips for keeping the freezer ice-free welcomed.

Date: 2012-02-07 09:46 am (UTC)The less you open the door and the shorter time you leave it open for the less warm air and therefore condensation gets in to build up ice.
Organising it so you know where stuff is and don't have to rummage helps with that.
