Died on this day in 1621 aged 42 King Philip III of Spain (my toy,wikipedia). Son of Philip II (who had been married to Queen Mary I) by Anne of Austria. He expelled the Moriscos from Spain (these people being the descendants of Muslims who had converted to Catholicism), and was involved in lots of wars.

Born on this day in 1900 to King George V of the UK and Mary of Teck, Prince Henry (my toy,wikipedia). Henry was mostly an army man, he would have been regent for Queen Elizabeth II had she become Queen before becoming an adult (which she didn't).
