Born on this day in 1622 to Frederick V Elector Palatine and Elizabeth the Winter Queen, Princess Louise of the Palatinate (my toy,wikipedia). Grandchild of James I &VI, aunt of George I. Louise was a talented painter, some of her works are in German museums. To the confusion of her family she went to France, converted to Catholicism and became a nun.
