Died on this day in 1271 aged 30 Isabella of France (my toy,wikipedia); cousin once removed of the wife of Henry III. Married the King of Navarre, as part of a peace deal between her father (the King of France) and her new-husband. She went on Crusade with her father and husband, who both then died, she retired to Provence.

Born on this day in 1154 to King Sancho VI of Navarre and Sancha of Castile, Sancho VII of Navarre (my toy,wikipedia). Brother of Berengaria who married Richard I. Fought with other bits of Spain, and was quite friendly towards England.
