Born on this day in 1851 to Grand Duke Konstantin of Russia and Princess Alexandra of Saxe-Altenburg, Grand Duchess Olga Constantinovna (my toy,wikipedia). Grandmother of Philip, husband of the current Queen. Olga married King George of Greece, after falling in love with him when he visited Russia, at the time she moved to Greece she spoke no Greek but soon learned. After her husband's death Olga returned to Russia, from whence she fled to Switzerland (where her son had been exiled) after the Revolution.
