Died on this day in 1435 aged 65 Isabeau of Bavaria (my toy,wikipedia). Mother of Catherine of Valois who married Henry V. The daughter of the Duke of Bavaria, Isabeau married the King of France, who had a severe mental illness that left him incapable of ruling for much of the time. Isabeau served as regent for their son. She had a terrible reputation, although it seems likely this was all made up because the idea of a woman actually being in charge of things was so unusual.

Born on this day in 1577 to George I, Landgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt and Magdalene of Lippe, Louis Hesse-Darmstadt V, Landrgrave of Hesse-Darmstadt (my toy,wikipedia). Great-grand father of George of Denmark who married Queen Anne.
