Born on this day in 1745 to Charles Mecklenburg-Strelitz , Duke of Mecklenburg and Princess Elizabeth-Albertine of Saxe-Hildburghausen, Gotthelf Mecklenburg-Strelitz , Duke of Mecklenburg (my toy,wikipedia). Brother of Charlotte who married George III. Tragically died only 2 days later.
