Died on this day in 1527 aged 48 Catherine of York (my toy,wikipedia). Daughter of Edward IV. Catherine married William Courtenay (after unsuccessful plans to marry her to princes from Spain and Scotland), he died when she was still young and she would have been expected to marry again but she took a vow of Chastity in the presence of the Bishop of London and lived the rest of her life (16 years) without remarrying. She was the last of Edward IV's children to die.

Born on this day in 1977 to Mark Phillips , Captain Phillips and Anne Princess Royal, Peter Phillips (my toy,wikipedia). Grandson of the current Queen. Peter has no royal title (despite being 13th in line to the throne), and generally avoids public life.
