Dec. 29th, 2015 07:12 pmDied on this day in 1765 aged 15 Prince Frederick of Great Britain (my toy,wikipedia). Grandson of George II. died tragically young. The painting illustrates how young boys were dressed in skirts, a much more practical choice when nappies were... notsogood.
Born on this day in 1717 to Anton Saxe-Meiningen , Duke of Saxe-Meiningen and Philippine , Princess Antonie of Saxe-Meiningen (my toy,wikipedia). Half sister of George father of Adelaide who married William IV. Does not merit own wiki page. Daughter of the Duke of Saxe-Meiningen and a lady-in-waiting of his sister (whom he married, in a very unequal marriage, which appears to have been happy).
