Died on this day in 1451 aged 67 Felix V, Antipope (my toy,wikipedia). Great-grand-son of King John II of France who was father of Joan of Valois who was mother of Joan of Navarre who married Henry IV (so Felix and Joan of Navarre were 1st cousins once removed). Born Amadeus VIII of Savoy he married and had several children, after the death of his wife he resigned the dukedom and became a hermit, before being elected Pope in Basel in opposition to Eugene IV. In 1449 he gave up trying to be pope and accepted a position as cardinal.

Born on this day in 1378 William Moleyns (my toy,wikipedia). William was the father of Katherine Moleyns who married John Howard (William doesn't merit a wiki-page, so that's a link to John Howard's page with the note about his wife & her parents) Katherine was the great-grand-mother of the Katherine Howard who married Henry VIII.
