Jan. 8th, 2016 03:57 pmDied on this day in 1538 aged 0 John (my toy,wikipedia). Great-grand son of Ferdinand II of Aragon, who was the father of Catherine of Aragon (wife of Henry VIII). Died aged only a month, in the 16th century infant mortality was high and "being rich" was no guarantee of escaping it.
Born on this day in 1863 to Prince Carl II of Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Maria Grathwohl, Viktoria von Bronn (my toy,wikipedia). Great-grand-daughter of Victoria who was the mother of Queen Victoria (through a different husband). Her parents had married morganatically so Viktoria and her siblings had no claim to royal status but inherited their mother's style of Baron(ess) which she was given when she married.
