Died on this day in 1163 aged 32 King Ladislaus II of Hungary (my toy,wikipedia). Brother of Geza; father of Bela; husband of Margaret; previously wife of Henry the Young King. Ladislaus was King of Hungary and Croatia, when his older brother was King Ladislaus lived in exile in Constantinople, when has brother died Ladislaus returned to Hungary and took the crown from his young nephew.

Born on this day in 1131 to Ingeborg of Kiev, King Valdemar I of Denmark (my toy,wikipedia). Father of Ingeborg who married Philip; son of Louis; husband of Eleanor; later wife of Henry II. Valdemar seems to have spent much of his life fighting civil wars in Denmark.
