Read:
Seveneves. Stephenson.

So, I read this entire nearly 700 page novel in less than a week. Very hard for me to put down. My main criticism is that I would expect to see much more change in 5000 years, I mean 5000 years ago Stonehenge was being built.

Reading:
Future Visions, a collection of short stories inspired by Microsoft.

I'm reading this because Anne Leckie and Seanan McGuire both have stories in it. So far so good.

Died on this day in 1301 aged 35 Richard FitzAlan , 8th Earl of Arundel (my toy,wikipedia). Great great grandfather of Mary, wife of Henry IV. Feudal lord of Oswestry, he fought the Welsh when they decided they didn't like being ruled by the English. Richard's wife was Italian, contact with Europe was not confined to the royal family.

Born on this day in 1672 to John Hanover , Duke of Brunswick-Luneburg and Benedicta of the Palatinate, Henriette of Brunswick-Luneburg (my toy,wikipedia). Daughter of John, brother of Earnest, father of George I. Does not merit own wikipage.
