about the other one.
People seeking more informative spoilers try the encyclopedia wot,
leighdb's readthrough and the wot faq (not quite up to date)
Spoilers UP TO and INCLUDING book 11, the Guide and NS. Spoilers for
book 12 will make me VERY UNHAPPY.
Actually these spoilers take the form of open questions. Rather than a
recap. What? I'm lazy.
Who the fucking hell killed Asmodean?!?!? (this is running as an Ear Worm
in my head, but I don't recall what the real words are to this tune). Do
I really care? (no)
Samael - dead? but Trollocs sent to kill Rand? So BY WHO?
WTF is up with Taim - clearly evil, RJ said not Demandred, so WTF. Also
what is his plan?
Demandred - on that score WHERE IS DEMANDRED? Eh? (apparently we've not
met him, says RJ, this is DULL CITY).
Cyndane==Lanfear? If so what de the 'finn do to her to reduce her
strength? Most obv. answer is Stilled and Healed by a woman, but WHO -
that was totally unknown until Ny developed it surely?
Messanna - WHO? in the tower we assume but still WHO.
Ishydin - has a plan, what is this plan? OK, that's basically "what is
the overaching EBIL plan" really isn't it. Has he got good control on the
current EVIL? (dunno - Taim and Demandred give the same instructions to,
er, thingy to kill Rand so clearly not everyone is communicating here).
Aran'gar - about to get a SRS BOLLOCKING. And then what?
Slayer - who is giving Slayer orders? When will Our Heroes figure him
out.
Massema - evil? appears to be in alliance with Suroth which suggests
EVIL. Also crazy.
Tuon - is going to become Empress and DO WHAT? Attack the WT we assume
(thanks Egwene) but what else? will Rand go (back) to Seanchan per
Seanchan prophecy? We'll assume she didn't know about Semirahge/Anath
being EVIL because, well, she's nice. Mostly.
the Red Ajah - appear to be Getting A Grip (tm), but it's going a bit
wrong (see, Taim=Evil) what's going to happen.
Black Ajah Hunters - going to WIN or FAIL?
White Cloaks -whose side are they going to be on come TG?
Verin - evil? good? WTF!
Gawyn - what's he DOING? Come on man! pick side! The right one dammit!
The one with you SISTER and the woman you LOVE on it, get a clue here!
Elaida - hell in a handbasket? going to hang in there?
Sheriam - clearly bad things going on here!
The Borderlanders - clearly they intend SOMETHING. Elayne is done with
them and presumably they will move on. Will the Queen of Saldea die so
Faile and Perrin can rule?
Egwene - will her plan work?
The other Rebells - are they about to give up?
Rand - what's he going to do now? hmmm. Sit around doing fuck all some
more? (probably). Clearly going to die, shedding blood at SG, helped by
Alivia. Girls to be sad :( but back in 3 days? am I reading the
prophecies right?
Perrin - about to meet up with Galad perhaps? Surely he isn't going to be
split up from Faile again. WTF is going on with Berelain? will she QUIT
IT? or is this sinister?
Lan - are we going to get Malkier back. Al'Lan and El'Nynaeve (El'Nynaeve
te al'Maera Mandragoran - is this the most stupid name yet?) crowned?
That'd be nice (so no, because nice is too much happy).
Queen Elayne. Will we get the corronation? Is it all going to fall
apart.
The future of the Aes Sedai - what will happen when they all know about
the life-shortening affects of the Oath Rod? What are Egwene's plans
going to do to them. One prophecy says that the Asha'man and the Aes
Sedai ballance each other (but in the old tongue, I dunno if the
characters have realised this one yet)
Rodel Ituralde - who has had 2 part-chapters (the second confused me
hugely the first time I read it, btw, on account of having forgotten the
first; but on re-read v. clear) so far. Will he WIN! Or not. Lots of
channelers sent to help but clearly they are ignorant of his efforts.
Will this turn out good?
Mat - married now :-) What are the Band going to do next? Arad Doman
perhaps? Did they tell us and I forgot? Clearly they will build the
cannon ('dragons') and so forth and BLOW SHIT UP. But what? and where?
Tear - is this going to work out? or are they going to rebel AGAIN/More?
Shaido - out of the picture. I assume completely. Good riddance. Will
they be back? (I hope not).
Seals - do we have loctions for all of them? Rand has a few, some are
broken. There's the one that Domon had at one point (what happened to
that)?
Anything I've missed here?
Oh, and not a question about the future. But Moraine/Siuan OMG SO CUTE. I wuv it! Also, like, them as people and their COOLNESS and such. New Spring is fab.
