Letter meme! (oh memes, how I have missed you!)
Liv gave me an E.
Something I hate:
Endogenous hormones, specifically mine; have over-ridden them with drugs, much better.
Something I love:
Eggplant (more usually aubergine, in English English) because it is both tasty and purple ;-p
Somewhere I've been:
Egypt. I went with my parents and brother when I was about 14 or 15, in August (my Mum is a teacher, the only time we could go on a two-week holiday was August. August is not a good time to visit Egypt unless, like me, you love the heat). It was very very hot, but 5* hotels and cruise boats have air-conditioning - which meant I was mostly cold, because my mother hates the heat... We stayed in Luxor (including a daytrip to Dendera) for a week and then cruised to Aswan and back, so I've seen most of the usual sights in upper Egypt, the cutest was a tiny sphinx statue in the temple of Luxor.
So, somewhere I'd like to go:
Eastern Himalayas. Because that is the natural habitat of the red panda, which is just the *cutest* animal ever. Of course you can pay huge amounts to go trecking in red panda conservation areas for a week and then... not see any, because they like to live spread out.
Someone I know:
Ed, who almost single-handedly runs folk dancing in Cambridge.
A film I like:
I feel like I should point out the existence of Ewoks: The Battle for Endor which if I had watched it might make this list... (I had to read through the wikipedia "list of films starting with E", because I'm that bad at remembering films I have like). So a film I have actually seen and liked: Evita. Because it has singing, and I'm a sucker for musicals.
