Born on this day in 1512 to King James IV of Scotland and Margaret Tudor, King James V of Scotland (my toy,wikipedia). Grandfather of James VI & I. He would sometimes travel around Scotland disguised as a common man, describing himself as the "Gudeman of Ballengeich" <- today's interesting fact is that this is a dance, and I didn't know it was about James V.
