Died yesterday in 902Ealhswith (my toy,wikipedia). daughter-in-law of Edward III; great great grand daughter of Edward I. Married 4 times and had no children.
Born yesterday in 1577 to King Frederick II of Denmark and Norway and Sophie of Mecklenburg-Gustrow, King Christian IV of Denmark (my toy,wikipedia). Nephew of Anne who married James I and VI. Had 2 wives, a lot of children, and a war with Sweden.

Date: 2015-04-27 10:13 pm (UTC)I have been meaning for a while to say thank you for all these little snippets. I haven't followed every link, but I am trying to get my head round some of these people a bit more than I had previously managed, and it is being very interesting.

Date: 2015-04-28 09:11 am (UTC)I was sort of hoping I could have a nice neat family tree that made everything clear... but it turns out that there are way too many people for it to make sense at all. But having the whole set means I can generate little graphs to make some points clearer sometimes.
Oh, and it's full of amusing facts like "married his niece" and "married second wife on anniversary of first wedding, presumably short on memory-for-dates" type things :)
