Sep. 22nd, 2015 04:57 pmDied on this day in 1840 aged 71 Princess Augusta of the United Kingdom (my toy,wikipedia). Daughter of George III. Augusta never married, in her youth because her father didn't want to allow her to, later presumably she either didn't want to or couldn't find a husband.
Born on this day in 1515 to John La Marck III, Duke of Cleves and Maria of Julich-Berg, Anne of Cleves (my toy,wikipedia). Wife of Henry VIII. After her marriage to Henry was annulled Anne was known as the King's sister, and was generally well regarded by the court until Wyatt's rebellion against Mary (because Anne was known to be friendly to Elizabeth, and also Protestant, it is not clear she had anything at all to do with the rebellion). She was the last of Henry VIII's wives to die, outliving Catherine Parr by 9 years.
