Nov. 9th, 2015 04:07 pmDied on this day in 1261 aged 33 Sanchia of Provence (my toy,wikipedia). Sister of Eleanor (wife of Henry III), Sanchia married Richard (Henry III's brother). There wedding incidentally was funded by imposing a tax on the Jews of England, in a very arbitrary manner.
Born on this day in 1683 to King George I of Great Britain and Sophia of Celle, King George II of Great Britain (my toy,wikipedia). George had more actual control as Elector of Hannover than as King of GB which was heading towards constitutional monarchy, and he spent a lot of time there.
