Dec. 19th, 2015 12:09 pmDied on this day in 1751 aged 27 Princess Louise of Great Britain (my toy,wikipedia). Daughter of George II. She married the Crown Prince (later King) of Denmark and Norway in an arranged marriage that was not happy but not disastrous. She was well liked at the Danish court, especially for her efforts to learn Danish and teach it to her children (the Danish court spoke mostly German).
Born on this day in 1628 to Frederick V Elector Palatine and Elizabeth Stuart, the Winter Queen, Charlotte of the Palatinate (my toy,wikipedia). Granddaughter of James VI and I. Born in the Dutch Republic whilst her parents were in exile she died aged only 2 and did not see her brother restored to the Palatinate.
